Biography
Fagnant played in all 134 games in her four years at Holy Cross and was the centerpiece of the Crusader offense from 1988-1992. She began her freshman year splitting time between catcher and designated hitter, but by the time her sophomore season started, she was handling full-time duties behind the plate. She graduated at the top of the Holy Cross all-time list in six offensive categories, including hits (112), homeruns (eight), RBIs (64), doubles (38), triples (14), and batting average (.361). Fagnant was named First Team All-MAAC and First Team All-New England after her sophomore season in 1989. The personal honors continued after the program moved to the Patriot League, where she was twice named First Team All-Patriot (1991, 1992) and Second Team All-ECAC (1992). Following her career at Holy Cross, Fagnant remained involved in softball, entering the coaching ranks.
