Biography

Rimkus twice earned All-East honors as a tackle for the Crusaders.  He was an outstanding two-way lineman on Dr. Eddie Anderson coached teams from 1950-52.  His teams were 16-4 his last two years, and as a senior he was co-recipient of the O’Melia Award as the outstanding player in the Boston College game.  Playing with teammate and fellow Hall of Famer Chet Millette, Rimkus played 59 minutes as a two-way tackle in the East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco at the conclusion of his senior year. He also played in the College All-Star game.
