analyzing Celtics basketball alongside Mike Gorman. “I
stopped making it World War III,” Heinsohn said. Yeah, right.
Anyone who listens to the 76-year-old Heinsohn knows that

Holy Cross is at it again. The Crusaders matched their Atlantic
Hockey start of a year ago with road wins over AIC and Army last
weekend. Each game was tight. The Crusaders beat AIC, 3-2, on
Friday night and then cut things extra close on Sunday at Tate
Rink. Everett Sheen scored with 11 seconds left in overtime for the
5-4 win over Army. . .

Middleton’s Provost recognized in
‘Ring of Fame’ at Holy Cross football

On Oct. 2, for the first time, Middleton resident John Provost was
able to look up in the stands of Fitton Field at the College of the
Holy Cross and see his Number 43. Provost was part of the inaugural
“Ring of Fame” class at Holy Cross, with the best
Crusader football players ever remembered by their numbers spread
around the Fitton Field stands. . .

Gill “The Thrill” Fenerty etched his name into the NCAA
record book with a dazzling 337 rushing yards and six touchowns in

Tomorrow promises to be a special day at Fitton Field. Six former
Holy Cross standouts — Gill Fenerty (Class of 1986), Gordie
Lockbaum (’88), Edmund Murphy (’43), Bill Osmanski
(’39), Vince Promuto (’60) and John Provost (’75)
— will be honored as the inaugural class of the Crusader
Football Legends Ring of Fame. . .
