Holy Cross Football Remains In National Polls

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team is ranked No. 25 in the nation in this week's Sports Network poll for the football championship subdivision. The Crusaders' fell six spots in the rankings, following Saturday's 34-31 loss at Brown. Holy Cross also moved down four positions in the FCS coaches' poll, where it is now ranked at No. 24.

In the Sports Network poll, Holy Cross received 342 total points, to earn the 25th spot. In the coaches' poll, the Crusaders placed 24th with 53 total points. The only other ranked team from the Patriot League in either poll was Colgate, which was ranked 17th by the Sports Network with 1,007 points, and 18th by the coaches with 208 points.

The Crusaders (4-1 overall, 1-0 Patriot League) return to action on Saturday, Oct. 17, when they play host to Dartmouth (0-4 overall, 0-2 Ivy League) at 1:00 p.m., as part of Homecoming Weekend.
