Holy Cross Ranked #13 In National Polls

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team is ranked No. 13 in the nation in this week's Sports Network poll for the football championship subdivision. The Crusaders' held their position in the rankings, following Saturday's 28-26 victory over then-No. 20 Lafayette. In addition, Holy Cross moved up one spot in the FCS coaches' poll, where it is now tied for the No. 13 position.

In the Sports Network poll, Holy Cross received 1,702 total points, to earn the 13th spot. In the coaches' poll, the Crusaders tied for 13th with 341 total points. Two other Patriot League teams, Colgate and Lafayette, were also ranked in both polls. Lafayette was listed 21st by the Sports Network with 602 points and 22nd by the coaches with 109 points, while Colgate was ranked 22nd by the Sports Network with 599 points and 21st by the coaches with 125 points.

The Crusaders (9-1 overall, 5-0 Patriot League) conclude the regular season this Saturday, Nov. 21, when they travel to Bucknell (3-7 overall, 1-4 Patriot League) for a 1:00 p.m. game.
