• Played for coach Pat O’Brien at Walter L. Sickles High School.
• Selected third team All-State in 2007.
• Named first team All-Hillsborough County and first team All-Suncoast Region as a senior.
• Averaged 42 yards per punt as a senior, while placing 21 of 59 punts inside the 20-yard line.
• Connected on seven of 11 field goal attempts, with a long of 44 yards, in addition to making 100 percent of his extra point attempts.
• Member of National Honor Society.
