Football To Hold Breast Cancer Awareness Day On Saturday

WORCESTER, Mass. ­– On Saturday, Oct. 27, the Holy Cross football team will hold Breast Cancer Awareness Day during its contest against Fordham. The Crusaders will wear pink shoelaces during the game with the Rams to help raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

HC for a Cure, the breast cancer awareness club on campus, will be at the game selling their brand new "Keep Calm and Fight On" t-shirts, tank tops and long sleeve shirts. Shirts will be sold for $12.00 and all proceeds will benefiting Pink Revolution. The club will be the selling shirts starting at 12:00 p.m. up through halftime.

Pink Revolution is an alliance of dedicated individuals with a unified commitment to those touched by breast cancer. Its mission is to support early detection and prevention strategies, fund clinical research advancements and promote survivorship programs in Central Massachusetts through its affiliation with the UMass Memorial Comprehensive Breast Center.
