HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played for head coach Jon Kadi at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Md.
• Earned second team All-League honors as a senior.
• Totaled 1,300 rushing yards, 1,500 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns during his high school career, in addition to posting 118 tackles and nine interceptions on defense.
• Also a member of the varsity wrestling and track teams.
• Claimed the 2012 state wrestling title at 182 pounds, in addition to being a two-time county champion.
•Won the regional track title in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.
• Served as team captain for the football, wrestling and track teams.

• Son of Zvi and Dina Covaliu.
• Has one brother (Itay) and one sister (Sigal).
• Sister, Sigal, is a member of the track team at Montgomery College.
• Has not yet declared a major.
