Randolph Ranked As #13 Quarterback In Nation By Sports Network

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross junior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio) has been ranked as the No. 13 quarterback in the nation by the Sports Network. In the Sports Network's preseason rankings for the football championship subdivision, Randolph was one of only two Patriot League quarterbacks to be listed, along with Sedale Threatt of Lehigh.

Randolph earned third team All-Northeast Region honors from Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette a year ago, after starting nine games at quarterback. During the 2006 season, Randolph completed 184 of 299 passes for 2,237 yards and 19 touchdowns with just six interceptions. He threw for over 250 yards in seven straight games to end the season, while leading the Patriot League in total offense (258.4 yards per game), passing yards (248.6 yards per game) and passing efficiency (141.3 rating).

Holy Cross will open the 2007 season when it travels to Massachusetts on Saturday, September 1.
