Holy Cross Football Ranked No. 25 By Phil Steele's Preview

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross football team has been ranked No. 25 in the preseason by Phil Steele's 2007 College Football Preview. The Crusaders were the only team from the Patriot League to be ranked in the nation's Top 25. In addition, Holy Cross and Lehigh were predicted as the preseason co-champions of the Patriot League.

On Phil Steele's preseason All-Patriot League teams, senior defensive back Casey Gough (Hinsdale, Ill.) and senior wide receiver Ryan Maher (Boca Raton, Fla.) were named to the first team, while senior wide receiver Thomas Harrison (Wilmington, N.C.), junior running back Mike Kielt (Southbury, Conn.), senior offensive lineman Dan Nolan (Pittsfield, Mass.), junior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio), senior defensive lineman Adam Sadowski (Tucson, Ariz.) and junior offensive lineman Chris Smith (Buffalo, N.Y.) all earned second team honors.
