WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior wide receiver Thomas Harrison (Wilmington, N.C.) has been named the GoHolyCross.com Crusader of the Week, for competition from September 10-16. Harrison helped lead the Holy Cross football team to a 31-28 victory over Harvard on Saturday, Sept. 15.
During the win over Harvard, he caught six passes for a team-best 98 yards and a touchdown. With just 19 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Harrison caught a 40-yard scoring pass from junior quarterback Dominic Randolph (Amelia, Ohio), bringing the team back from a four-point deficit for the win.
In two games played this season, Harrison has totaled 14 receptions for 169 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Over the course of his career as a Crusader, he has now recorded 88 catches for 1,094 yards and eight scores.
Holy Cross (1-1 overall, 0-0 Patriot League) returns to action this Saturday, Sept. 22, when it plays host to Georgetown (0-3 overall, 0-1 Patriot League) in its Patriot League opener at 1:00 p.m.
