WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross freshman wide receiver Thomas Harrison (Wilmington, N.C.) has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for games ending November 20, it was announced by the conference office. Harrison caught four passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Crusaders' 31-28 overtime victory at Georgetown on Saturday.
During the Georgetown game, Harrison caught a 36-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback John O'Neil (White Plains, N.Y.) in the fourth quarter for the first score of his collegiate career. That touchdown tied the game at 28-28 to force overtime, as the Crusaders came from behind for the victory. Harrison also set a new career-high with his four catches in the game. He finished the season with 12 catches for 160 yards.
Holy Cross concluded the 2004 season with an overall record of 3-8 and a 1-5 mark in Patriot League games.
