Men's Golf Completes Day One At Patriot League Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Holy Cross men's golf team stands in sixth place after two rounds at the Patriot League Championship held on the par-72 Grace Course at the Saucon Valley Country Club on Saturday afternoon. The Crusaders have a total score of 627 strokes (+51), as they trail Lehigh who is in first place with a combined mark of 595 (+19).

Holy Cross senior co-captain Steve Zychowski (Mendham, N.J.) is tied for sixth place individually with a two-round total of 150 strokes (+6). Senior co-captain Michael McCarthy (Tolland, Conn.) carded a 157 (+13), which ties him for 17th place as an individual. 

The Crusaders trail fifth place Lafayette by four strokes (623) and fourth place Bucknell by eight strokes (619).

Holy Cross will play one 18-hole round on Sunday, April 28 to conclude the Patriot League Championship with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m.
