WORCESTER, Mass. – Four players on the Holy Cross men's golf team made an appearance on the 2013 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Crusader senior Michael McCarthy (Tolland, Conn.) along with fellow senior Steve Zychowski (Mendham, N.J.) both earned their third and final Honor Roll selection this past spring.
The other two members of the golf team named to the honor roll are sophomores Connor Burfeind (Falmouth, Maine) and Craig Norton (Foxboro, Mass.). Norton boasted the highest team GPA this past spring with an impressive 3.71 grade point average.
The Crusaders had four of the 34 student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll from the Patriot League this past season. A student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average or higher while participating in a winter or spring sport in order to be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll.
