HC Men's Golf Places Five On Academic Honor Roll
Five members of the Holy Cross men's golf team have been selected to the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including seniors Joe Hajjar (Mahwah, N.J.) and Pat Rodenbush (Brockton, Mass.). Holy Cross had at least one member from each class earn a spot on the honor roll. The other members of the team to be named to the honor roll were junior Brian Flood (Forest Hills, N.Y.), sophomore Anthony Ardito (Portland, Maine) and freshman Tim McGovern (Oradell, N.J.). HC Begins Preparations For 2008-2009
With the 2007-2008 season now complete, the Holy Cross men's golf team is looking ahead to the 2008-2009 campaign. The Crusaders will be led by senior co-captains Pat Brown and Brian Flood. Joining them on the roster will be sophomores Colin Andrade, Tim McGovern and James Widman. All other players off the 2007-2008 roster, in addition to all prospective candidates for the team, must qualify for the four remaining spots on the roster. (more)

Men's Golf Names Team Captains
The Holy Cross men's golf program has named seniors Pat Brown and Brian Flood as 2008-09 team captains. Brown had an 81.6 average in 16 rounds to rank fifth on the team in the 2007-08 season. At the 2008 Yale Spring Open he led the Crusaders with a 57th place finish and a two-round score of 152, while he placed 34th at the Patriot League Championship. As a freshman, Brown tied for first in a dual meet with Providence with a 75. (more)
