Sophomore forward Cam Atkinson jumped on a loose puck after a Yale
defender broke his stick attempting a shot at the Boston College
blue line. Atkinson hit junior center Brian Gibbons with a lead
pass at center ice and Gibbons skated into the zone and beat Yale
senior goaltender Ryan Rondeau with a shot low to the blocker side.
The goal was Gibbons’ 16th of the season and Atkinson (23)
picked up the lone assist.

Freshman forward Andrew Miller made a lead pass from his own blue
line to sophomore winger Brain O’Neill in the neutral zone
who skated into the Boston College zone and left a drop pass for
senior center Mark Arcobello at the top of the left wing circle.
Arcobello took a slap shot which was saved by Boston College junior
goaltender John Muse, but the rebound ended up on the stick
O’Neill whose shot beat Muse on the glove side. The goal was
O’Neill’s 15th of the season with assists going to
Arcobello (19) and Miller (26).

Senior defenseman Carl Sneep corralled a loose puck at his own
blue line and fired a clearing attempt towards the Yale zone. The
puck then hopped up and over the blocker of Yale senior goaltender
Ryan Rondeau and ended up in the back of the Yale net. The tally
was Sneep’s 11th of the year and was unassisted.

Sophomore defensemen Edwin Shea took a shot wide from the point
which was gathered behind the net by freshman forward Pat Mullane.
Mullane made a pass into the slot where junior forward Joe Whitney
took a shot that was saved by senior Yale goaltender Ryan Rondeau.
Whitney gathered his own rebound and put the puck in the back of
the net past the blocker of Rondeau. The goal was Whitney’s
15th of the season with assists going to Mullane (18) and Shea
(7).

passed the puck back to sophomore defenseman Kevin Peel on the left
point. Peel took a shot which was tipped by Arcobello past Boston
College junior goaltender John Muse. Arcobello’s goal was his
second of the game and 14th of the season. Peel (10) and
O’Neill (28) picked up the assists.

the puck into the back of the net through the legs of Yale freshman
goaltender Jeff Malcolm. The goal was Hayes’s 11th goal of
the season with assists going to Shea (8) and Smith (20).
