Men's Hockey Announces 2012-2013 Freshman Class
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head men's hockey coach Paul Pearl has announced the 2012-2013 freshman class for the Crusaders. Brandon Adams (Prospect Heights, Ill.), Karl Beckman (Okemos, Mich.), Jake Bolton (Ellington, Conn.), Nathaniel Domagala (Oakville, Ontario), Tim Driscoll (Hingham, Mass.), Ben Kaplan (Burlington, Vt.), Brett Lubanski (Farmington Hills, Mich.), Joe McNamara (Chestnut Hill, Mass.), Castan Sommer (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Matt Vidal (Manorville, N.Y.) will join the Holy Cross program in the 2012-2013 academic year.
"We are extremely excited with the quality and depth of our recruiting class," said Pearl. "Up front we brought in a group of guys with the potential to score at the Division I level. On the back end we have added size, strength and play-making ability. All of the freshmen will be given the opportunity to compete for playing time right away."
