Kyle Fletcher Makes Pro Debut With The ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers

WHEELING, W.Va.­ – Holy Cross senior forward Kyle Fletcher (Kanata, Ontario) has signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) with the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers. The Nailers are the affiliate of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, along with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs and Wilkes Barre / Scranton Penguins. Fletcher made his professional debut with the team on March 20 in its 2-1 shootout win versus the Kalamazoo Wings. The Nailers have six regular season games left on their schedule.

Fletcher played in 108 career games at Holy Cross with 33 goals and 49 assists for 82 points. He was named the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week three times during his career. This season he tied for second on the team with 16 assists, while he also tallied 10 goals for 26 points. Fletcher led the team as a sophomore with 38 points. Also as a sophomore he won the team's Seventh Player Award and was a member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy as a junior.
