Before Holy Cross: Two-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Summit H.S. for coach Jim Davidson … earned 2010 honorable mention All-State, first team All-Conference and first team All-Union County honors … named the team’s 2009 Most Improved Player … recorded five assists as a senior in 2010 … won the Bill O’Connor Memorial Award … received honorable mention ESPN Rise accolades … team won the 2009 and 2010 Tournament of Champions title, the 2009 Group II state championship and the 2010 Group I state championship … in his two seasons, team went 45-1 and set the record for the most consecutive victories in the history of New Jersey lacrosse with 45 … also a two-year member of the varsity soccer team.

Personal: Son of Tom and Kim Troy … has three brothers (Sean, Conor and Eamon) … father graduated from Holy Cross in 1977 … brother, Eamon (Class of 2011), was a four-year member of the Holy Cross lacrosse team … has not yet declared a major.
