Before Holy Cross: Three-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Don Bosco Don Bosco Preparatory H.S. for coach Mike Springer … as a senior in 2011 he earned second team All-State, first team All-Bergen County and first team All-Conference … recorded 53 goals and 31 assists for 84 career points … as a senior he was named the team’s Offensive MVP as he posted 37 goals and 18 assists for 55 points … also a member of the Gamerz club lacrosse team for coach Kevin Wright … was on the varsity ski team for one season … member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Frank and Leslie Gaul … has two brothers (Jack and Billy) and two sisters (Anna and Marlies) … has not yet declared a major.
