- The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team will return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 26, when the team will travel to Cambridge, Mass., to face Harvard at 4:00 p.m. The Crimson lost their season opener, 8-6, last weekend to Massachusetts. On Saturday, March 2, the team will travel to Fairfield, Conn. to play Sacred Heart at 3:00 p.m. The Pioneers have lost their first two games of the season versus Hofstra and Marist.
- Sophomore Conor Shanahan (Potomac, Md.) recorded his first two goals of his collegiate career versus Hartford. Senior Myles Gillespie (Rye, N.Y.) leads the team with seven points, recording two goals and two assists versus Hartford. Senior John Hannan (Manhasset, N.Y.) follows with five points, netting a pair of goals in the victory against Hartford.
- Senior captain James Kennedy (Summit, N.J.) has been named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list for the second straight season. Kennedy has recorded 65 goals throughout his career and 43 career assists, for 108 career points. So far this season, Kennedy has recorded one goal and four assists for five points.
- The Holy Cross allotment of tickets for the 2013 Metropolitan Lacrosse Classic are on sale. Fans can order tickets in the Field Sideline area for $35.00 each by calling the Holy Cross Ticket Office at (508) 793-2573. The Metropolitan Lacrosse Classic will take place on Sunday, March 17, at Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets. Holy Cross will take on Navy in the first contest at noon, while Michigan will face Colgate in the second game at 3:00 p.m.
