- The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team will return to action on Saturday, April 6, when they travel to Easton, Pa., to take on Patriot League opponent Lafayette at 1:00 p.m. Go here to watch the game: http://www.goleopards.com/allaccess/. The Leopards are 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the Patriot League. Last season, Holy Cross lost to Lafayette, 8-4. The Crusaders are 7-17 all-time versus the Leopards. The Crusaders' 5-5 record is their best after the first 10 games of a season since 1988 when they were also 5-5.
- Sophomore Clay Haarmann (Mendham, N.J.) leads the team with 20 goals and 25 points. As a freshman, he tallied 11 goals and five assists for 16 points. He has three hat-tricks so far this season and four for his career. His 2.00 goals per game are ninth in the Patriot League.
- Senior captain James Kennedy (Summit, N.J.) has been named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list for the second straight season. Kennedy has recorded 75 goals throughout his career and 51 career assists for 126 career points. He has the most career assists and points of any current Crusader. His 51 career assists are tied for 20th by current players nationally. So far this season, Kennedy has recorded 11 goals and a team-best 12 assists for 23 points. His 1.20 assists per game are fifth in the Patriot League. Last season he tallied 23 goals and 19 assists for 42 points.
- Senior Matt Ward (Massapequa, N.Y.) leads the team with 29 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers. For his career he has 122 ground balls and 59 caused turnovers. His 1.9 caused turnovers per game are ranked 20th in the nation.
