WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior Jimmy Harrison (East Williston, N.Y.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from March 16-22. Harrison made 23 saves and allowed just 10 goals last week, as the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team split a pair of games against Hartford and Army.
During Tuesday's 7-3 win over Hartford, Harrison earned his first victory of the year while making eight saves and allowing just two goals in 59:47 of action. He then played all 60 minutes in Saturday's 8-5 loss to No. 20 Army, totaling 15 saves while surrendering eight goals.
Overall this season, Harrison stands 1-6 with 89 saves and a 10.59 goals against average. His career record stands at 12-23 with 473 saves and a 9.95 goals against average. Harrison currently ranks third all-time at Holy Cross in career saves.
The Crusaders (1-6 overall, 0-3 Patriot League) return to action on Tuesday, March 24, when they play host to Dartmouth at 6:30 p.m.
