Holy Cross To Host Inaugural Rowing Weekend

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross rowing director Patrick
Diggins '86 and men's rowing coach Todd Pearson '98 have announced
the inaugural Holy Cross Rowing Weekend to take place Friday, Oct.
16 and Saturday, Oct. 17. The two-day event will happen in
conjunction with both Holy Cross' Homecoming Weekend and the 45th
Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston.
Friday's festivities will feature an 18-hole golf outing, banquet
and prizes at the Leicester Country Club in Leicester, Mass.
Participants will include the current Holy Cross rowing coaching
staff, former Crusader rowers, family members of past and current
student-athletes, alumni and fans. On Saturday an alumni tent will
be set up at the Head of the Charles Reunion Village. Holy Cross
graduates, friends and former teammates are encouraged to show up
and cheer on those who have chosen to race in the Alumni 8 events
taking place at 11:06 a.m. and 11:22 a.m. More details can be found

Both days' events are open to everyone. The golf outing, which will
be in scramble format and include a shotgun start, begins Friday at
11:00 a.m. with check-in at 9:30 a.m. The dinner buffet follows at
4:00 p.m. Participation in the weekend's events begins at $95.
Space is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first
served basis.
