2009-2010: Member of the varsity eight that placed second at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 10)...also competed at the Head of the Charles Regatta (Oct. 17-18) and at the Princeton Chase Regatta (Oct. 25). 

2008-2009: Rowed as a member of the varsity eight...helped Holy Cross finish 16th at the Eastern Sprints (May 10)...rowed with the varsity eight at the IRA Championship Regatta (June 4-6).

2007-2008: Participated as a member of the freshman eight...helped row the freshman eight to a second place finish in their race at the Patriot Challenge (April 27).

Before Holy Cross: A three-sport athlete at Tabor Academy in football, basketball and rowing...voted the crew team's Most Improved Player in 2005...led the rowing team to a win at the 2006 Henley-on-Thames.

Personal: Son of Drew and Lillian O'Connell...has two brothers, Drew and Chase, and four sisters, Heidi, Kjersti, Lilli and Tierney...majoring in Economics and English.
