2011-2012: Member of the varsity eight that placed first out of 23 boats in the men’s eight race and set a course record at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 15)..rowed for the second varsity eight in three spring regattas, while he was a member of the varsity eight twice and the third varsity eight once...third varsity eight won a race versus Bucknell (April 29)...member of the varsity four that won the petite final at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2).

2010-2011: Member of the freshman eight in all eight competitions in the spring…freshman eight defeated EARC member Rutgers (April 30) and took first place in the third-level final at the Eastern Sprints (May 15)…a member of the varsity four that qualified for the semifinals at the IRA National Championship (June 2-4).

Before Holy Cross: A member of the Essex Rowing Club while attending St. John’s Preparatory School…part of a crew that won the men’s varsity eight competition at the 2010 US Rowing Northeast Championship…team placed sixth at the 2009 Head of the Schuylkill and placed fourth at the 2009 Textile River Regatta…rowed in the men’s intermediate and senior pair in the summer of 2009 at Junior Nationals, Independence Day Regatta and the Cromwell Cup...member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Frank and Diana Curro…has two sisters (Natalie and Gina)...has not yet declared a major.
