2011-2012: Competed in seven spring regattas, rowing five with the freshman eight....the freshman eight won a race against Boston College (April 28).

Before Holy Cross: Attended Belmont Hill School…editor of the high school magazine… member of the school newspaper…member of the Spanish club.

Personal: Son of Kevin and Jean McNamara…father is a 1979 graduate of Holy Cross…has two sisters (Caroline and Julie)…sister, Caroline, played women’s lacrosse at Bowdoin…grandfather, John F. McNamara, Jr. (Class of 1944), and uncle, John F. McNamara III (Class of 1973), graduated from Holy Cross...has not yet declared a major.
