
2011-2012: Member
of the varsity eight that placed first out of 23 boats in the
men’s eight race and set a course record at the Snake Regatta
(Oct. 15)...rowed for the varsity eight in all seven spring
regattas...varsity eight won races versus Rutgers (April 22) and
Bucknell (April 29)...member of the varsity four that won the
petite final at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June
2)...member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy.
2010-2011: Member of the varsity eight that
competed at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 9), placing first of 20
teams…rowed for the varsity eight for all eight competitions
in the spring…varsity eight won the Sullivan Cup by
defeating George Washington (April 9)…the Crusaders also
defeated Bucknell (April 23) and EARC member Rutgers (April
30)…was a member of the varsity four that qualified for the
semifinals at the IRA National Championship (June 2-4).
2009-2010: A member of the freshman
eight…finished first with the Crusaders’ novice
‘A’ boat at the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge (Oct.
24)...the freshman eight won two of its three races at the 23rd
George Washington Invitational (April 9-10), defeating UC San Diego
in the first race and George Washington and Gonzaga in the third
race…won dual-races versus Bucknell (April 18) and Rutgers
(May 2).
Before Holy Cross: Rowed for three years in seat
four at Gonzaga College H.S. in Washington, D.C....team won
back-to-back WMIRA Championships in 2008 and 2009...member of the
2008 Washington Post Boat of the Year...recipient of the
2008-2009 Student-Athlete Award.
Personal: Son of Kathy and Peter
Prominski...father played football at Brown...has three brothers
(Matthew, Thomas and Luke)...majoring in Political Science.
