2011-2012: Competed in four spring regattas...rowed for the freshman eight twice, the freshman four once and the second freshman eight once.

Before Holy Cross: Competed for Community Rowing Inc. for coach Marko Vukovic…men’s lightweight intermediate eight boat won the bronze medal at club nationals in 2010…placed fourth in the men’s under-23 lightweight eight dash at the 2010 Royal Canadian Henley Regatta…won two gold medals at the 2011 Saratoga Invitational Regatta in the men’s youth lightweight eight, while also earning a bronze medal in the men’s heavyweight eight…won a gold medal in the men’s lightweight eight at the 2011 Northeast Regional…team placed 11th overall at youth nationals in 2011…won a silver medal at the 2010 Northeast Regional in the men’s heavyweight eight…attended Catholic Memorial H.S. where he won the Peter Rockwood Jr. Memorial Award.

Personal: Son of Gerry and Diane Roy…has three sisters (Catherine, Caroline and Victoria)…sister, Catherine, is a senior on the Holy Cross women’s rowing team...has not yet declared a major.
