Crusaders Ready For The Head Of The Charles

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 20-21 at Head of the Charles Regatta, Boston, Mass.
- On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21, Holy Cross will compete at the 48th Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River in Boston. On Saturday, the Crusaders will compete in the club four race at 12:30 p.m. (Bow 3) and the club eight race at 1:20 p.m. (Bow 32), while on Sunday, Holy Cross will compete in the collegiate eight race at 3:43 p.m. (Bow 6). - After the Head of the Charles, the Crusaders will compete at the Princeton Chase Regatta on Sunday, Oct. 28 on Lake Carnegie. And then the Crusaders will conclude the fall season at the Green Monster Regatta on Nov. 3.
- The Head of the Charles is the world's largest two-day rowing event. This event started on Oct. 16, 1965. Last year, Holy Cross placed ninth out of 52 boats in the club four race and finished seventh out of 40 boats in the collegiate eight competition.
- The Crusaders' varsity eight placed first out of 27 boats at the Snake Regatta on Oct. 13. This was the third straight time that the varsity eight has won this race.
