2008-2009: Set new personal-records in the 50 free (22.18), 100 free (48.05) and 200 free (1:46.63) at the Patriot League Championship...placed second in the 100 free at the Worcester City Championship with a time of 50.44...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll...named Most Valuable swimmer by teammates.

2007-2008: Swam personal-best times in the 50 free (22.87), 100 free (50.11) and 200 free (1:50.07) at the Patriot League Championship...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2006-2007: Had season-best times in the 50 free (23.68), 100 free (52.42) and 200 free (1:56.77) at the Patriot League Championship.

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the Chatham H.S. swimming team coached by Dave Steele...named captain for the 2005-2006 season...won the coaches award in 2003-2004 ...was a National swimmer...captain of Summit Y Seals under Coach Hank Buntkin...all-time four-year high point scorer for Chatham...broke school records in 100 free, 100 fly, 200 free, 200 medley relay, 200 and 400 yard relay...member of the cross country team.

Personal: Son of Joe and Virginia McShane...has one brother...Political Science major.
