Men's Swimming And Diving Heads To Harold Anderson Invitational

- The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team will return to the pool at the Harold Anderson Invitational on Friday-Saturday, Nov 30-Dec. 1, hosted by Rhode Island.
- Last season, junior Jan Yburan (Livingston, N.J. ) led the team with a second place finish in the 50 freestyle (22.17), fourth place finish in the 100 backstroke (55.65) and a seventh place finish in the 200 backstroke (2:04.16). Senior Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) came in third for the 1,000 freestyle (10:30.64) and finished eighth in the 200 freestyle (1:50.75). Junior Kevin O'Connor (Ridgewood, N.J.) placed fifth in the 1000 Free (10:45.57), ninth in the 200 Fly (2:12.67) and in the 11th 500 freestyle (5:18.23) while sophomore diver Brendan Higgins (Summit, N.J.) had a pair of third place showings in the three-meter dive (169.45 points) and one-meter dive (155.65 points). The team finished in fourth place.
- The Crusaders are coming off the Terrier Invitation which took place over three days from Friday-Sunday, Nov. 16-18. Holy Cross was led by senior Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) who took 11th in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.47), 13th in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.83) and 16th in the 400 individual medley (4:26.30).
