WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior diver Nick Videtti (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 14-20. Videtti received the Whit Griffith Award as the Diver of the Meet of the Worcester City Chamionship, while helping to lead the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team to a second place finish.
At the Worcester City Championship, Videtti captured first place in both the one-meter diving and the three-meter diving. He opened the meet by winning the three-meter diving with a total of 381.38 points. Videtti then set a new school record with 432.49 points in the one-meter diving for another first place finish.
Holy Cross returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 26, when it travels to Providence for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
