Men's Tennis Swept At Army, 7-0, In Final Action Of Weekend

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Holy Cross men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to host Army to wrap up Patriot League action this weekend at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center. With the final tally, the Crusaders drop to an overall record of 2-5 (0-2 PL) on the season while the Black Knights pick up a record of 6-5 (2-0 PL). The Black Knights have topped the Crusaders 7-0 in the last seven meetings.

Army swept the double matches, picking up the team point. The Black Knights then swept all singles matches as sophomore Ryan Sullivan (Medfield, Mass.) put up the squad's best effort, falling 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.

Holy Cross returns to action after spring break, hosting cross-city opponent Clark on Friday, March 23. Match time is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Holy Cross tennis courts in Worcester, Mass.
