WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross men's tennis junior Chris Brosnan (Garden City, N.Y.) was named to the 2013 Academic All-Patriot League team, as voted on by the league's sports information directors. To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport.
A member of the 2012 Academic All-Patriot League team, Brosnan held a 5-9 overall record in singles matches during the 2012-2013 season. In doubles matches, Brosnan went 6-10 over the course of the year. In his career, he is 14-31 in singles tilts and 16-29 in doubles matches.
Brosnan is a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and also a part of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy. Academically, he holds the highest GPA on the team at 3.61.
