  • The Holy Cross men's tennis team kicked off the 2014 spring slate with an 8-1 loss at Southern New Hampshire on Sunday, Feb 9. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 1-3 in dual matches during the 2013-2014 season. Holy Cross will return to action on March 15, when it travels to Staten Island, N.Y. to take on Wagner at 1:30 p.m.
  • The Crusaders' lone point of the match came from freshman Sean Frebes (Cleveland, Ohio) who won his No. 5 singles match by a score of 8-2.
  • Holy Cross freshmen Jimmy Ye (Boston, Mass.) and Pat O'Shea (Wilbraham, Mass.) both lost their matches in a tiebreaking set. Ye dropped his No. 3 singles match, 7-5, 1-6, (10-4), while O'Shea fell in his No. 4 singles tilt, 5-7, 7-6 (10-7). Ye and O'Shea also lost a close No. 2 doubles match, 9-7.
