         <description><![CDATA[Five members of the Holy Cross men's tennis team have been selected to the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office, including junior Jay DeSanto (Dalton, Pa.) who led the Crusaders with a 3.93 grade-point average in the spring semester. Holy Cross' five selections were tied for the most in the league. The other members of the team to be named to the honor roll were senior Matthew Vicidomino (Dover, Mass.), junior Angelo Sica (Chester, N.J.), sophomore Dan Phelan (Chicopee, Mass.) and freshman Kevin Leggio (Coram, N.Y.).]]></description>

These teams posted multi-year APR scores in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports. The public recognition awards are part of the broad Division I academic reform effort.
