2011: Personal-bests with times of 1:56.92 in the 800 meter run at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (May 14), 2:47.94 in the 1,000 meter run at the Crowell Open (Jan. 8), 1:10.29 in the 500 meter run at the Sorlien Memorial Invitational (Jan. 15), 4:12.59 in the 1,500 meter run at the New Hampshire Invitational (April 9) and 4:57.36 in the mile run at the Harvard Open (Dec. 10) … Part of the 4x880 yard relay team that finished second with a time of 8:24.95 against Maine (Feb. 5).

Before Holy Cross: Member of the varsity cross country team at Iona Preparatory School ... also competed on the indoor and outdoor varsity track and field teams ... member of National Honor Society.  

Personal: Son of Robert and Karen Athanasidy ... has two brothers (Bobby and Christopher) ... has not yet declared a major ...also a member of the Holy Cross cross country team.
