Men's Indoor Track And Field Eighth In Patriot League Preseason Poll
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's indoor track and field team was selected to finish eighth in the Patriot League preseason poll as voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. Defending champion Bucknell and last year's runner-up Navy finished the polling tied for first with 92 points and eight first place votes.
Army claimed the third spot with 74 points while Lehigh took fourth with 62 points. Lafayette landed fifth with 50 points and Colgate (33), American (30) and Holy Cross (15) rounded out the poll.
Holy Cross is set to begin the 2012-2013 campaign tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Jay Carisella Invitational in Boston, Mass. at 10:15 a.m.
