- The Holy Cross men's indoor track and field will return to action this week at the Harvard Open in Cambridge, Mass.
- Last season, junior Ross Davies (Salem, N.H.) led the Crusaders at the Harvard Open with a pair of top-15 performances. Davies finished eighth in the 200-meter dash (22.99) and 14th in the 60-meter dash (7.21). Sophomore Mike Galasso (Danvers, Mass.) crossed the finish line in eighth place in the 800-meter run in 2:00.77 and graduate Michael Millard took eighth in the pole vault (3.95 meters) to lead Holy Cross in the field events.
- The Crusaders are coming off the season opening Jay Carisella Invitational where junior Tim Moczula (Edison, N.J.) led the team with a fourth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.64 seconds. Freshman Jim Polewaczyk (Falmouth, Maine) was the top rookie track finisher for Holy Cross, taking 14th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.82. Freshman Rob Cacace (Yonkers, N.Y.) led the Crusaders in the field events with an 11th place finish in the shot put with a throw of 12.27 meters.
