LEWISBURG, Pa. - The men's indoor track and field team opened up full team action on Saturday at the 2014 Patriot League Championship as freshman Kyle Quinn (North Andover, Mass.) finished the final three events of the two-day heptathlon to take sixth overall with a new Holy Cross school record score of 4,079. Quinn's top finish came in the pole vault where he tied for third with a height of 3.85 meters.
Senior Tim Moczula (Edison, N.J.) added two top-10 finishes as he qualified for tomorrow's final in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.46 seconds and took eighth in the high jump with a height of 1.84 meters. The 4x800-meter relay team earned a fourth place finish and time of 7:43.89. The team was comprised of junior Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.), sophomore Lucas Keefer (Yonkers, N.Y.), junior Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.) and senior Sam McGrath (Tyngsboro, Mass.). Sophomore Dennis Muldoon (Weymouth, Mass.) also added a 12th place finish in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:55.21.
The men's indoor track and field team will conclude the Patriot League Championship tomorrow, Sunday, Feb. 23, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
