         <description><![CDATA[The Holy Cross men's track and field squad has placed 24 student-athletes on the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by league officials. Leading the Crusaders was senior Kevin Dowd (Broad Brook, Conn.), who was selected to the Academic Honor Roll for the fourth consecutive year. Holy Cross' 24 total selections to the Academic Honor Roll were the second most in the conference. A total of 134 student-athletes from men's track and field teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll.]]></description>
