Men's Cross Country To Race At Paul Short Invitational

Schedule: Friday, Sept. 28 at Paul Short Invitational, Bethlehem, Pa., 10:00 a.m.
- The Holy Cross men's cross country team will return to action on Friday, Sept. 28, traveling to the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa. The race is hosted by Lehigh and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
- This will be the second consecutive season the Crusaders race in the Paul Short Invitational. Last year, Holy Cross finished 17th of 46 teams. Graduate Dan Altenau took the top spot for the Crusaders, crossing the finish line in 37th place at 26:24. Juniors Dylan Villescas (Las Cruces, N.M.) and Nick Petsky (Manorville, N.Y.) finished behind Altenau with times of 27:29 and 28:08, respectively.
- The Crusaders are coming off a busy weekend, with the team splitting up to run in two different races. Select members traveled to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the National Catholic Championship (9/14), hosted by Notre Dame. Sophomore John Cicchitti (Warminster, Pa.) took home to top finish for the Crusaders. Other members of the team ran in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (9/15), with junior Matt Muilenburg (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) leading the Crusader finishers.
