Men's Cross Country Set For Final Race Of 2012

Schedule: Saturday, Nov. 17 at IC4A Championship, Bronx, N.Y., 9:30 a.m. 

  • The Holy Cross men's cross country team will return to the course on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the IC4A Championship. It will be the final race of the season for the Crusaders, taking place in Bronx, N.Y. beginning at 9:30 a.m.
  • Last season, the Crusaders sent three student-athletes to the IC4A Championship. Former runner Joseph Seebode was the top team finisher with a time of 29:15.
  • Sophomore John Cicchitti (Warminster, Pa.) continues to lead the Crusaders, finishing first on the team in every race he has run in this season. Cicchitti's top time this season came at the New England Championship (24:58.82). He took home Patriot League Runner of the Week honors that week with a 21st place finish. Freshman Dennis Muldoon (Weymouth, Mass.) is the only other Crusader to earn league recognition this year, taking home Rookie of the Week for Oct. 1-7. Muldoon finished with a career-best time of 26:06.17 at the New England Championship.
