Brian Wilson Named Head Coach At Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Brian Wilson, associate head coach of the Holy Cross women's basketball team, has been named the new head coach for the women's basketball program at Connecticut College. Wilson was part of the Crusader coaching staff for the last six seasons, helping lead the Crusaders to two NCAA Tournament appearances and two Patriot League titles (in 2005 and 2007).

"Connecticut College has a strong history of academic and athletic achievement," Wilson said. "I hope to add to that legacy by taking the women's basketball program to a new level of competition."

Prior to his time at Holy Cross, Wilson served as a graduate assistant at Western Kentucky University. He was also an intern assistant coach for both the men's and women's basketball teams at Williams College for one year

Wilson received his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Virginia in 2000, and a master's degree from Western Kentucky in 2005.
