Amy Lepley Nabs Patriot League Rookie Of The Week Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross freshman forward/guard Amy Lepley (Norfolk, Mass.) has been named the Anaconda Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season. She averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in the last two contests against Navy and American to earn the honors.

Lepley scored a career-high 15 points against Patriot League co-leader American on Saturday, leading the team in scoring. She also finished with four rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist against the Eagles.

Lepley also made 6-of-10 field goals at American, marking the fifth time this season that she has shot at least 60 percent from the field, including two of her last three outings. She has also led the team in scoring three times this year after Saturday's performance.

Holy Cross (8-19, 4-8 PL) will finish its road slate with a Wednesday night game at Colgate (10-16, 5-7 PL) on Feb. 24. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. at Cotterell Court in Hamilton, N.Y.
