
Sahar Nusseibeh is in her second season an assistant women’s basketball coach at the College of the Holy Cross in 2012-2013. A former player for American, she was part of two squads that won Patriot League regular season championships.
Nusseibeh joined the Crusaders after spending the previous two years as a graduate assistant at Cincinnati. With the Bearcats, she provided on-road recruiting, coordinated video, served as the team’s post coach and was the academic liaison between the players, academics department and coaches.
Along with her experience as a graduate assistant, Nusseibeh spent time as a coach’s assistant with the Atlanta Dream and Washington Mystics of the WNBA. She played for American from 2005-2009 and was named to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team. During her playing career, American won the conference regular season titles in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
Nusseibeh is a 2009 graduate of American, earning her bachelor’s degree in International Relations / International Business and graduating with cum laude honors. She received her master’s degree in Business Administration from Cincinnati in May of 2011.
