Leading the Crusaders were senior guard Laura Aloisi (Nashua, N.H.) and senior forward Ashley McLaughlin (Andover, Mass.), who both posted a 3.43 grade point averages during the spring semester. Joining Aloisi and McLaughlin on the Academic Honor Roll was sophomore forward Tayana Carper (Shrewsbury, Mass.). A total of 45 student-athletes from women's basketball teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll.]]></description>

The 6-1 senior forward has always embodied what being on the Holy Cross women's basketball team means: passion, determination, and always protecting the tradition that is Crusader women's basketball. From the beginning of her career as a freshman, McLaughlin was a key element in the Crusader success. During her first year with Holy Cross, she was named to the All-Patriot Rookie Team after appearing in 31 games and making 11 starts.
