Holy Cross Places Three On Academic All-League Team
Three members of the Holy Cross women's basketball team have been selected to the 2007-2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Leading the Crusaders were senior guard Laura Aloisi (Nashua, N.H.) and senior forward Ashley McLaughlin (Andover, Mass.), who both posted a 3.43 grade point averages during the spring semester. Joining Aloisi and McLaughlin on the Academic Honor Roll was sophomore forward Tayana Carper (Shrewsbury, Mass.). A total of 45 student-athletes from women's basketball teams around the league earned spots on this year's Academic Honor Roll. (more)

Radio Broadcasts Move To The Pike
Holy Cross Athletic Director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and WWFX-FM General Manager Bonnie Gomes announced today that WWFX-FM The Pike will be the new broadcast home for Holy Cross athletics, beginning this fall. "We're very excited to begin this relationship with The Pike," Regan said. "It's an excellent station and a terrific partner for Crusader athletics. We owe it to our fans and alumni to have a consistent broadcast home for our football and basketball games." (more)

HC To Host 2010 Patriot League Tourney
Patriot League executive director Carolyn Schlie Femovich announced Wednesday the sites of the 2009 and 2010 Patriot League women's basketball tournament. The women's tourney will be held at Lehigh University's Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pa. in 2009. The following year Holy Cross' Hart Center in Worcester, Mass. will be the site of the tournament. As the host of the women's tournament, each school will welcome all eight teams to its home court. (more)
