WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior Kaitlin Foley (Albany, N.Y.) has been named Patriot League Baden Player of the Week for the first time this season and the second time in her career while freshman Bethany O'Dell (Lincoln, R.I.) has been named Patriot League Baden Rookie of the Week for the third time.
Foley averaged 19.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Crusaders. In Saturday's win over Lehigh, Foley netted a season-high 24 points, going 9-for-10 from the field and 6-6 from the free throw line. Versus Colgate, the senior center had 15 points and three blocks.
O'Dell averaged 17.0 points, 5.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game. On the week she shot 59.1% from the field and 53.8% from beyond the arc. Against Colgate on Wednesday, the freshman guard poured in a career-high 24 points, connecting on 5-of-6 attempts from long range and 9-of-10 shots overall. She added 10 points and two career-bests with seven assists and six steals in a victory over Lehigh on Saturday.
The Crusaders (3-4 in the league and 8-14 overall) will play host to Lafayette Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
